About the Service

The T.U Dublin Students Union Advice Service is a freeconfidential, impartial, and non-judgemental service available to all T.U Dublin City Campus students. We will try help you to resolve you problem, or connect you with the right person to talk to. The Advice Team can assist you with queries relating to your academic affairs and welfare. Students access the service for advice on a range of topics, including finding accommodation, accessing mental health support services, managing financial issues, resolving exam, lecture, or assessment issues, and complaints. 


This is the Students Union Advice service, and therefor, it is independent of the University. 


The team is staffed by the Manager of Academic Affairs and Welfare, and four professional Student Advisors. We work closely with the Vice President for Welfare, and the Vice President for Education. You’ll find one Advisor per campus located in the SU area - two on the Southside, and two on the Northside. For Grangegorman, please contact advice@tudublinsu.ie to check availability. 



How can I access the service? 

There are a number of ways in which you can access the service. You can drop in to your local Student Advisor's office, or contact them by phone or email. If you would like to speak to a Student Advisor in person, but are short on time, you can arrange an appointment with them in person, by email, or over the phone. 


Alternatively, you can use our advice email which is monitored during office hours.

9am - 5pm                                                                              9am - 4.30pm 


We offer a lunch time service to our members and remain open between 1pm and 2pm, except for a minimum of twice per semester, when we facilitate class rep meetings. We do close for an hour every day, usually at 12pm or 2pm.
