Each year the Company (TUDSU CLG) must hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to present a report to the members outlining TUDSU CLG's financial statements for the previous accounting year. Each member shall have one vote at the AGM. If an Emergency General Meeting (EGM) is called, all members of the Company are invited to attend.
In order to make sure that the student voice is properly represented at the AGM, Student Council is entitled to elect 6 students (at least 2 from City Campus, 1 from Blanchardstown, 1 from Tallaght plus two other students from any any campus) as members of the Company (not a Director) to attend the Annual General Meeting. This is a great opportunity for any interested students to take part in representing the members of the company and to see how a company conducts it affairs.
We would encourage students to consider running for this role and if you need any further information, please contact the Company Secretary, Maura Cunningham at email@example.com.
Further information on duties and responsibilities of directors can be found on the ODCE website.
If you are interested you can fill out the nomination form above.
