Student Councillors are elected at a Class Rep Meeting, but do not have to be a Class Representative, and represent student interests at Student Council. Once elected a Student Councillor must attend meetings of the Class Reps on their campus.
The fundamental function of the role is to actively participate in the Student Council by proposing and influencing mandates and policies and holding the elected officers to account. The full time and part time elected officers are members of the Student Council together with the PostGraduate officer and the School Reps.
Each campus has Student Councillors that have been elected to represent them i.e. 12 for Blanchardstown Campus; 23 for City Campus and 15 for Tallaght Campus. All
