Fitness Coach / Gaelic Football Coach (Fun Fitness Gaelic / Gaelic4Mothers)
Who are we?
St Brendan’s GAA Club was founded in 1920 in Grangegorman. We were founded as a club for the health services staff. We now have a nursery section, underage & adult teams for Men’s and Ladies Gaelic Games. We use the TUD grounds in Grangegorman and the Longmeadows facility beside the Garda Boat Club on the Chapelizod Road. We aim to be innovative, open to ideas and do our best facilitate our members, our community and our coaches.
About the Role
Camogie Coach(es):
We are on looking for a coach / coaches to work with our new Adult Ladies Camogie Team. We have had great interest from players and will be fielding at junior level for 2021. We already have 2 Adult Ladies Gaelic Football teams and the Camogie Coach(es) will work with our Football management, the club executive and a great group of players. Right now we are looking at training / a match on 2 evenings of the week.
Fun Fitness Gaelic (Gaelic4Mothers) Coach(es):
We are always open to talking to Gaelic Football / Fitness coaches, of all levels of experience, who are open to working with us or a would be open to a chat.
Over the summer we are looking at running a Fun Fitness Gaelic / Gaelic4Mothers course. This will be run one evening a week and we have had a great deal of interest taking part in this. We are looking for coach(es) who would be willing to plan / help plan, set-up, take/ assist with taking, close and feedback on training sessions.

We all have had a rough time over the last year or so. But at some point, we hope to get out again and enjoy sport. We will always do this in a safe fashion and with the primary aim of enjoying our sport together,
As our current coaches can attest to, we are a decent & friendly bunch. We are grateful for the help that we get and aim to do as well as we can whilst providing enjoyment for everybody. We will work with the successful candidates to provide whatever support practical. There are several roles available and we are willing to provide flexibility. We can provide training and are always a phone call away.

- Is a person that is dependable and honest
- Can take on board information and communicate this clearly to people
- An all-round people person
- Friendly and confident
- A driving licence and access to a car is a plus (but e can make arrangements if this is not possible)
- Trips to away games may be required.

Rate of pay: We are open to discussion – 12 to 20euro/hour
