TU Dublin SU By-Election

Polling starts at 9am on Wednesday, 24th November and ends on Thursday, 25th November at midnight (12am). Aungier Street/BIMM College Officer: Registered Aungier Street students will be eligible to vote for the Aungier Street College. Postgraduate Officer: all TU Dublin Postgrad students will be eligible to vote for the Postgrad Officer position.all TU Dublin Postgrad students will be eligible to vote for the Postgrad Officer position. Please note the term of these positions is: 1st July 2021 - 30th June 2022.

Aungier Street/BIMM College Officer

The College Officer is responsible for the recruitment of Class Representatives and chairing the Class representative meeting within their own constituency. They also help in the promotion of elections for school representatives and student councillors. The College Officer is responsible for running local events and activities and engaging with their constituency with the support of the VP for Events and Engagement and other sabbatical officers.

Postgraduate Officer

Postgraduate Officer plays a key role in the overall democratic structure of the TU Dublin Students’ Union. The fundamental function of the role/position is to represent the interests of all Research and Postgraduate Students to TU Dublin and TU Dublin Students’ Union. The Postgraduate Officer must work in a participative manner to develop, support, represent and defend the rights of students in TU Dublin in order to fully support the work of the TU Dublin Students’ Union.
