Who am I?
Hey! My name is Conor and I’m running to be college officer for Central Quad Grangegorman. I’m a third year Computer Science Infrastructure student. I have been actively involved within the SU as well as Societies and the Access Service. I have been Class Rep, a member of Student Council, Vice Chair to the Access Society and have been an Access Leader with the Access Orientation Programme.

What do I offer as College Officer?
Inter Quad Events
With Grangegorman now housing both the Central Quad students and East Quad students ( formerly known as Kevin street and Cathal Bruagha respectively ), and being in close proximity to Bolton street, I want to keep engagement high between all campuses and encourage cross quad communication. To do this I aim to hold many events on campus in collaboration with East Quad as well as the other city campuses.
Lobbying for More Student Space
With the student space situation in Grangegorman being already compromised due to the loss of space in Bradogue, there needs to be something done to confidently facilitate the new students arriving in Grangegorman in the new term. The space that will now house TUDSU CC and Societies is not enough. These are some of the reasons why I want to lobby for more and better student space in Grangegorman.
Maintain Good Facilities
Although we are moving to brand new buildings, that does not mean it will take long for them to be neglected. If elected, I would want to make sure our brand new building stays looking as good as the day we moved in.
Promote Inter School Communication
With the schools coming from different sides of the same coin I want Central Quad to feel as close knit as possible. I aim to bring the schools of what was Kevin street and Cathal Bruagha street together while also promoting their individuality. I want all schools of Central Quad to feel like they belong in Central Quad together. I aim to do this by following on from the previous VP’s for Educations great engagement with the school and class reps and hosting meetings/chats between all reps outside of class rep meetings.

- I just want Central Quad to be the best it can be!
