Class Reps are the essential link between:
- The Programme of Study
Class Reps gather feedback from their class, express their views to TU Dublin and the Union and bring more feedback back to their class. This flow of information is crucial as it enables the Union to be responsive to student needs and in turn this strengthens the power of DITSU to lobby for improvements.
Class Reps are an important point of contact for students to get the info on all Union activities, campaigns and events. The Class Rep is also a member of their Programme Committee. For a complete guide on the role of the Class Rep, check out our very useful Class Rep Handbook.
Each class is entitled to elect one Class Rep (streams may also be represented) to represent them. Class Reps have the opportunity to attend Class Rep Meetings, to discuss local issues with the College Officer. Minutes from the meetings held this year can be found below. Minutes from previous years can be requested from email@example.com
To apply to become a Class Rep, please select the appropriate nomination form for your campus below. Nominations close on Friday 27th September.
